The Atlas® Platinum PTC500 center post tire changer is designed for high-volume tire shops that deal with the most challenging wheel and tire combinations in the market. The Atlas® Platinum PTC500 includes patented, innovative features that make it stand out from the competition! The first of these is the “Lever/No-Lever System” which allows the machine to be used with a standard tire tool/lever or in a “leverless” mode with no manual tools required. The second outstanding feature is the “Smart Lock” system which allows the tire to be mounted and immediately locked in position with a flip of the lever which eliminates the need to manually thread the center cone or to maintain a complicated pneumatic locking system. The external bead seating system makes inflating even the most challenging tires a breeze. Finally, the integrated wheel lift helps reduce employee lifting injuries or damage to expensive wheels. How Your Machine Is Delivered
Excavators and skid steers move by LTL freight because of their size and weight. Here is what to expect:
- FREE forklift unloading where it is required, subject to site access and carrier availability.
- The carrier contacts you to schedule a delivery window — you will not be caught off guard.
- Someone 18 or older must be present to sign for the delivery.
- Please have a firm, reasonably level spot with clear truck access for the unload.
Attachments & Smaller Parts
Buckets, augers, thumbs and other attachments may ship separately by standard ground courier and can arrive on a different day than your machine.
Inspect Before You Sign
Always inspect your delivery before signing. Walk around the machine and check for freight damage while the driver is still on site.
If you find anything, note it on the bill of lading (BOL), take clear photos, and contact us within 48 hours so we can file the freight claim for you.
Alaska, Hawaii & Remote Areas
Deliveries to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and remote or limited-access addresses may carry a surcharge and longer transit — please request a freight quote before ordering. We cannot deliver to PO boxes.

Warranty
Every item is covered by a 1-year limited parts warranty from the date of delivery. If a covered part fails, we supply the replacement part.
- Covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Does not cover wear items, misuse, accident damage, unauthorised modification or lack of maintenance.
- To start a claim, contact us with your order number, photos and a description of the fault.

Orders can be cancelled free of charge within 24 hours of being placed, provided the item has not shipped.
Because we sell heavy machinery, all sales are final once an item has shipped. We do not accept returns for change of mind, buyer’s remorse or incorrect product selection — so please confirm the size, weight and specification with us before you order. We are happy to check the fit for you.
Damaged or Faulty on Arrival
- Inspect the machine before you sign. Note any damage on the delivery paperwork.
- Report transit damage or a defect within 48 hours of delivery, with clear photos, and we will put it right.
- Refused deliveries are treated as returns and return freight is charged.
