The Atlas® 408SL super deluxe portable vehicle storage lift is designed for those car enthusiasts who demand the absolute best look and superior quality. The 408SL has all the great features of our Atlas® Garage Pro Series 4 post hobbyist lifts, but incorporates many features found only on our Atlas® commercial grade 4-post lifts. All columns incorporate two special bends which help to increase the column strength. These strategic bends also increase the surface area for the slide block to travel. Horizontal cables are “hidden” inside of the cross tubes. Professional grade wheel covers are used to eliminate almost all exposure of cables and the double lock system. The Atlas® 408SL has “more metal” and weighs over 100 lbs. more than other hobbyist lifts based upon the same column and runway configuration. The Atlas® 408SL is built to the same commercial lift standards as our Atlas® 412 and Atlas® 414 four post lifts, but also offers portability (Caster Kit included). How Your Machine Is Delivered
Excavators and skid steers move by LTL freight because of their size and weight. Here is what to expect:
- FREE forklift unloading where it is required, subject to site access and carrier availability.
- The carrier contacts you to schedule a delivery window — you will not be caught off guard.
- Someone 18 or older must be present to sign for the delivery.
- Please have a firm, reasonably level spot with clear truck access for the unload.
Attachments & Smaller Parts
Buckets, augers, thumbs and other attachments may ship separately by standard ground courier and can arrive on a different day than your machine.
Inspect Before You Sign
Always inspect your delivery before signing. Walk around the machine and check for freight damage while the driver is still on site.
If you find anything, note it on the bill of lading (BOL), take clear photos, and contact us within 48 hours so we can file the freight claim for you.
Alaska, Hawaii & Remote Areas
Deliveries to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and remote or limited-access addresses may carry a surcharge and longer transit — please request a freight quote before ordering. We cannot deliver to PO boxes.

Warranty
Every item is covered by a 1-year limited parts warranty from the date of delivery. If a covered part fails, we supply the replacement part.
- Covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Does not cover wear items, misuse, accident damage, unauthorised modification or lack of maintenance.
- To start a claim, contact us with your order number, photos and a description of the fault.

Cancellations & Returns
Orders can be cancelled free of charge within 24 hours of being placed, provided the item has not shipped.
Because we sell heavy machinery, all sales are final once an item has shipped. We do not accept returns for change of mind, buyer’s remorse or incorrect product selection — so please confirm the size, weight and specification with us before you order. We are happy to check the fit for you.
Damaged or Faulty on Arrival
- Inspect the machine before you sign. Note any damage on the delivery paperwork.
- Report transit damage or a defect within 48 hours of delivery, with clear photos, and we will put it right.
- Refused deliveries are treated as returns and return freight is charged.
